Please click on the picture to see a larger view. Samuel Pinckney Stowe Sr., House. Shortly after The Stowe Mansion was completed at 217 South Central Avenue, It was destroyed by fire. In 1924, it was rebuilt & home to The Stowe Family for many years, after three generations of Stowes lived there, the home stood empty until it was refurbished & then was called The Stowe Manor, Belmont, NC. This is an 8 1/2 x 11 picture that will fit perfectly in a document frame.
